We design each system with dropped steam headers with risers out of both sides of the boiler to dry the steam out and provide the most efficient, high BTU content steam to your radiators.
We insulated steam supply piping to keep the steam condensing in your radiators and not the piping.

Does your steam heating system knock or make loud noises? Did you know these noises are NOT normal and can be very detrimental to system longevity?
Steam heating knocking or hammering is caused by improperly drained water/condensate. Steam can travel upwards of 100 MPH. That's fast! While steam can easily travel through piping at those speeds, water can't. The steam picks up the water as it travels and slams it hard against the first turn it meets resulting in what is called water hammer. Click here to know more.
