Triangle Tube Safety Recall

We install Triangle Tube and have been made aware of a recall for Prestige Solo, Prestige Excellence and Aerco Esteem Condensing Gas Boilers that were produced between Dec. 2011 through April 2019.

You may have found articles online that have a list of recalled model and serial numbers. Those lists are not complete or accurate.

Visit r2r.triangletube.com to find out if your boiler is a part of this recall. There is a downloadable PDF that helps you locate your model and serial number. You can also call the contractor who installed it to check if they have your model/serial number on file.

This recall is related to carbon monoxide. So this is a good opportunity to remind everyone that it is important to have carbon monoxide detectors in our homes. What makes carbon monoxide particularly dangerous is that it's a colorless and odorless gas. It is impossible to detect CO by sight or smell.

Carbon monoxide detectors are easy to find online or pick up from any hardware store. They are also very easy to install. If you don't have a detector in your home, take this article as a sign to get one. It's a small step that can help ensure all of our gas appliances are operating safely.
